Honda Odyssey Oil Pan FIXED!

Dealer wanted $650 to replace my oil pan that was barely leaking. The drain plug just "would not" tighten up. Can't believe they make oil pans out of aluminum. Found this site on a Yahoo search. Glad I did. Fixed it myself in about 30 minutes! Was a little concerned about the metal in the pan after drilling and tapping but by pouring a quart of oil through the top of the engine flushed all the metal out. Thanks again for saving me about $500!

Honda Civic Threads Better Than New

My aluminum threads were worn out on my 2002 Honda Civic oil pan. Didn't want to trust a temporary repair like a rubber expandable plug or an oversized drain plug that could crack the aluminum pan. Time Sert's definitely got the right idea because now I have steel, solid threads that will last the life og the car!
